Hey guys, I just heard that my good friend and yours, Brent McElroy was injured when he fell off his roof yesterday sustaining multiple fractures to his leg. I don't have any further information at this time but please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He is the other luthier that has donated a guitar in the APM Katrina fundraiser. He has a big heart and is trully a good guy. He is located in Seatle Washington and many of you met him at ASIA and Healdsburg this last year |

I have emailled him to ask just that. I don't know if he is home now or not. Hopefully I will hear from him soon. |

I had the pleasure of meeting Brent at the Newport show last year, and I got to hang with him for awhile on the last night at ASIA at the concert. He really is a great guy. Thanks John, I'll shoot him an email. |

John thanks for the heads up on Brent. He contributed to some of my more memorable ASIA moments in terms of good laughs. He truly is a great guy and builder. I will send him a get well card. I am glad to hear that his injuries are not more serious. I had my share of injuries. The boredom is the worst part. Lets all send a get well card. Can't cost much and a little kindness goes a long way. john |
